Welcome to ESN Nijmegen, one of the youngest Dutch ESN sections!
We are students of Radboud University and HAN University of Applied Sciences and we are a part of ESN since January 2018. Even though we are still young, we count over 500 members and have more than 40 active members across our committees.
Nijmegen is said to be the oldest city in the Netherlands, and holds historical features. The city also faces Waal, which creates the iconic scenery of the city of Nijmegen. During the summer, the city hosts the biggest march festival in the world called Vierdaagse, and welcomes over 40,000 participants from around 70 countries.
Our goals are to bring students from different nations together, further international exchange and by doing so creating a community for people from near and afar. We do so by hosting events, such as language exchanges, city trips, borrels, parties and more.
Our committees are the Language Exchange, PR & Graphics, Acquisition, Party, Event, Integration, Travel & Excursion, and Sports committees. The last one is still in the making.
If you would like to join us during your stay in Nijmegen, or just visit and check us out, you are always more to welcome to stop by at our office or send us a message!
